Now that I've picked up my jaw from the floor...... ...........this is really well done! ^_^ I will echo what others have said in that I thought this was a black and white photo from the thumbnail. Your endless practicing with shading is paying off. As ANTIFAN said, photorealism with pencil should be celebrated. One tiny little nitpick- I think there should be a little more detailing on her hand- I don't know if it's just this monitor, but there's an 'overexposed' patch on the back of her hand, and it's blanked out details. It's making her fingers look one joint too short. But as I said, this is a very small point- you know I just can't critique without leaving something to be improved on! DANKA's opinion is also my opinion! I would have voted +9 on this simply because it's been executed so well, but I would LOVE to see more than that from you. While you are allowed to favour portraits, you can also feel free to take the creative license to take things a step further. For example, take http://artoonator.gfxartist.com/artworks/70855. It's a portrait and it's still expressive and creative. This is a beautiful, stunning piece Tuna, but I also know you have a killer imagination and you could make something like this really expressive. Keep it up! You've got awesome skills. If I had a hat, I'd be taking it off to you right now. ^_^ +8

This is done quite well. But if I may critique anyway: I don't like the overexposed skin. It goes completely white with no detail. Skin doesn't do that. But more than that, it lessens the impact of the specular highlights like the glint in her eyes.

For a pencil work, you have great skill. The only crit i have for you is her "index finger" Its short. Could of been a bit longer. It looks a bit like she has little a midget index finger. The rest is really nice. Lighting, shadows and also the necklace..... cheers

Definately an original and NOT a copy! There are slight differences with the original foto and any artist would be capable to notice what effects can be achieved with pencils, which this drawings is filled with. Like the pencil structure and the areas on which the artist has used a eraser to achieve glow effects, where the light hits on the body and such. My highest +5, wished I could give higher.
